Presented at Vroom, Brussels
Etna Art & Research Center invited 22 contemporary artists to create an etch inspired by these images and in dialogue with their own artistic practices. The origanal etches where presented in the refugio Galvarina, one of Etna’s many refugios. The etches where left behind there, to be discovered by passer-by.
The publication collectes all these 22 etches, aswell as an introductionary text by Janes Zeghers in wich the walk from a parking lot o the mountain side to the refugio Galvarina is discribed.
During the expo the audience heard the ritmic sounding poem read from the publication in their headphones while wandering in the mist. This way visitors where able to daydream away, as if they where actualy walking on the Etna.
